Season 2015/16 was a massive one for rising star Shubham Bhargave.

The prodigiously talented off-spinner and classy right hand batsman became the youngest player ever to represent CMCC at First XI level when he debuted against St Kilda in Round 11 2015/16 at just 16 years and 49 days.

Following in the footsteps of club legends Simon Hill and Jack McNamara, Shubham also became just the third Camberwell Magpie to represent his country at underage level, when he was selected for the Under 16 Australian side to take on Pakistan in 2015/2016.

His selection in that side came on the back of impressive performances in the Under 15 National Championships, and more recently, the 17-year-old was named an emergency in the 2016 Under 17 National Championships Team of the Carnival following strong performances with the ball for Victoria Metro.
