Profile

Heading into his fourth season at the helm of the Camberwell Magpies, Brendan Drew has been at the forefront of the club’s rise as a respected force in Victorian Premier Cricket.

For the first time in the club’s history since the merger, the Magpies had all four grades in the finals and finished second in the Club Championship in 2015/16, underlining Brendan’s value as a leader of a young and up-and-coming playing group.

His work on the field has been equally impressive since finishing a seven-year first class career with Tasmania, and this was recognised with selection in the Camberwell Magpies ‘Team of the Decade (2007-2016)’ last season. Whether he has the ball or bat in hand, Brendan is a dynamic player that can take games away from the opposition in next to no time.
